چکیده

In this paper, a multirate approach is proposed for the recovery of wide-band (Global Navigation Satellite System) GNSS signals. Two or more narrow-band front-ends are used in parallel for collecting different portions of the spectrum of a wide-band GNSS signal that is then reconstructed from its subband components. Algorithms for compensating for phase offsets and amplitude imbalances have been developed and used to equalize possible differences among the recovered narrow-band components. Specific focus is given to the case where two front-ends are employed and live GNSS data from the Galileo In-Orbit Validation Elements, GIOVE-A and GIOVE-B, are used for demonstrating the effectiveness of the developed reconstruction algorithm. Index Terms Global Navigation Satellite Systems, GNSS, Front-end, Multirate Signal Processing, Power Symmetric Filter, Prony’s method, Wide-band Signals

A Novel Sampling Approach in GNSS-RO Receivers with Open Loop Tracking Method

Propagation of radio occultation (RO) signals through the lower troposphere results in high phase acceleration and low signal to noise ratio signal. The excess Doppler estimation accuracy in lower troposphere is very important in receiving RO signals which can be estimated by sliding window spectral analysis. To do this, various frequency estimation methods such as MUSIC and ESPRIT can be adopt...
